VISION

Our vision plan is designed to help you and your eligible dependents save money on routine vision care expenses. Our plan, administered by EyeMed Vision Care, features a national network of participating providers who have agreed to provide vision care services at greatly reduced rates. The Valassis national network is called Access. The list of network providers includes Lenscrafters, JC Penney, Sears, Macy's and Super Target, as well as many independent eyecare providers. And while you may receive services from a non-network provider, you will receive greater benefits, and value by using EyeMed Access providers.

To locate a participating provider, go to www.eyemedvisioncare.com. Choose the "Access" network under "Locate a Provider" and enter your zip code.

Services not covered by the vision plan include:

  • Orthoptic or vision training; subnormal vision aids and any associated supplemental testing
  • Medical/surgical treatment of the eyes or supporting structures
  • Corrective eyewear required by an employer such as safety eyewear
  • Non-prescription lenses and non-prescription sunglasses
  • Two pairs of glasses in lieu of bifocals

Contact EyeMed at 1-866-723-0514 to confirm whether a specific service or product is covered by our plan.
