Retirement Gift

The Valassis Retirement Gift program offers a way for Valassis to honor and recognize associates for years of hard work and the associate's upcoming retirement.

Eligibility

Our retirement gift program provides a retiring associate with a gift valued at
approximately $125-$500 based on length of service as follows:

• 10-19 years $125 gift
• 20-24 years $250 gift
• 25-34 years $375 gift
• 35+ years $500 gift

In order to receive the retirement gift, an eligible associate must be age 55 or older with
a minimum tenure of ten (10) years. As always, departments are encouraged to organize
a retirement celebration as part of the gift presentation.

How the Retirement Program Works

The retiring associate must notify the functional leader and Human Resources at least a month in advance of the intended retirement date. The functional leader will be responsible for purchasing the gift and presenting it to the associate prior to the retirement date.
